About Us
Helping dogs move better, one session at a time
Moredge Canine Rehabilitation provides professional hydrotherapy and rehabilitation support for dogs recovering from surgery, injury or long-term mobility conditions. Our approach is calm, caring and tailored, giving every dog the support they need to move more comfortably and confidently.
Hydrotherapy uses controlled exercise in warm water, either in a swimming pool or on an aquatic treadmill. The buoyancy of the water helps reduce pressure on the joints, making movement easier for dogs who may find land-based exercise difficult, painful or restricted. At the same time, moving through water encourages the muscles to work, helping to build strength, improve conditioning, support cardiovascular fitness and maintain mobility.
Every dog is different, so every session is adapted to their needs, ability and confidence level. Whether your dog is recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, building fitness, improving gait or simply needing gentle support to move more freely, our team works carefully to make each session safe, positive and beneficial.
Our hydrotherapy pool is maintained at a comfortable therapeutic temperature of 28 to 30°C, helping to support circulation, ease muscle tension and encourage relaxation. Our aquatic treadmill allows for controlled, guided movement, with adjustable water depth, speed and incline so sessions can be tailored to each dog’s size, condition and rehabilitation goals.
Above all, we want every dog and owner to feel supported. Rehabilitation is a journey, and we are here to help dogs build strength, confidence and quality of life at their own pace.
